...Reparations be paid to descendants of enslaved people of color to eradicate the wrongs created by four hundred years of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, mass institutionalization & incarceration, police & state violence, redlining, predatory banking, discriminatory healthcare, educational inequities, voter suppression & implicit bias all of which has significantly contributed to the substantial wealth gap in America today. The only way forward is to repair the harm done by Paying Reparations Now. There must be tangible recognition of the systemic injustice perpetrated in the form of Reparations.
